Current/Recent Projects:
I've signed a contract with Luminis Books to publish my young adult novel entitled Maybe
I Will in early 2013. A sexually assaulted teenager resists conformity, yet discovers freedom of self-expression through
the physical forms in Taekwondo and the poetic form of Shakespeare's sonnets. Click on "Maybe I Will" on the Navigation

My

I
returned to the classroom on a regular basis in the fall of 2011 as an adjunct professor teaching criminal justice courses

My

and Belief (Volume 20.2). It's a special edition devoted to young adult literature.

I served on the faculty at the 26th National Symposium
on Child Abuse in Huntville, Alabama, March 22-25, 2010. I co-presented a workshop entitled "Is It Insane
to Use a S.A.N.E.?" with a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (S.A.N.E.). I presented that and two more workshops
in 2011, "How to BEAT a Bully" and "Prosecuting Child Sexual Abuse Cases." I'll return in 2012 to teach

Three of Me and the inspirational gift book My Token of Change.

I awoke inspired by the idea of designing a coin and affirmation poem that would help people let go of what they don't want

In November 2006,
I completed a correspondence course through the Institute of Children's Literature with published author Marcia Amidon
Lusted as my instructor.
In
addition to Socratic Parenting, I published an article entitled "When I Grow Up" in the Jan/Feb 2006 issue of Fort
Wayne Woman. I also wrote a regular column "Laurie Gray: Inside the Law" for Fort Wayne Woman in 2006 responding
